Through hands-on service and lasting relationships, FOCUS unites Orthodox Christians to meet the needs of our neighbors — offering food, clothing, shelter, and care rooted in Christ’s love. Together, we restore dignity, build community, and make God’s presence tangible in the lives of those we serve.

For over 20 years, FOCUS Atlanta — rooted in the Loaves & Fishes tradition — has served neighbors in need every weekday at 543 Cherokee Ave SE. We provide breakfast, a hot meal, clothing, and connections to medical care and other essential services.
FOCUS Bridgeport brings Orthodox Christians together to serve children and families through community meals and fellowship. What began as a shared vision among local parishes is growing into an active ministry built on hospitality, dignity, and Christ-centered service.
FOCUS Cincinnati gathers neighbors around a shared table, offering hot meals and pantry items to those in need. Rooted in the belief that poverty begins with disconnection, we work to restore community one meal at a time.
FOCUS Cleveland has served the homeless and poor of Ohio City since 1977. We operate an emergency shelter, a transitional home, and serve three meals a day, seven days a week, every day of the year.
FOCUS Detroit is committed to creating a more beautiful Detroit from the inside out — believing that transformation of the heart moves outward into families, neighborhoods, and communities. We serve neighbors through food, clothing, and the power of authentic relationship.
FOCUS Gateway City serves the near south side of downtown St. Louis with warm meals, a food pantry, clothing, haircuts, and bus tickets for those in need. We gather neighbors every Sunday and Wednesday through programs like the Apostles Community Kitchen and St. Xenia's Closet.
FOCUS Houston exists to serve mothers, expectant mothers, and children through the struggles and joys of family life. We envision a community where every mother and child experiences Christ's unconditional love through compassionate, practical support.
FOCUS Los Angeles serves neighbors in need through twice-monthly food distributions at Saint Nicholas Cathedral and Saint Matthew's in Torrance. We bring people together around hot meals and pantry items, responding to disconnection with presence and practical care.
FOCUS Minnesota offers a clothes closet, Sunday dinners, a food shelf, and daily lunch bag distributions to neighbors in need throughout the week. We welcome anyone who comes through our doors and are always looking for volunteers to join us in service.
FOCUS Orange County unites Orthodox Christians from across Southern California to serve neighbors through food, clothing, and community support. We believe that serving beside one another — across parishes and jurisdictions — is itself an act of faith.
FOCUS Philadelphia faces the needs of its neighbors together — providing hot meals, clothing, and personal care kits rooted in the Orthodox Christian call to serve. We believe that every person deserves to be met with dignity, compassion, and hope.
FOCUS Phoenix responds to poverty and disconnection by gathering neighbors around hot meals and pantry items. United in faith and joined by a desire to serve, we bring Orthodox Christians together to meet the needs of their community.
FOCUS San Francisco is a new Center in development, bringing together Orthodox parishes across the Bay Area to serve a city where more than 1 in 8 residents live below the poverty line. Plans include a weekly food pantry and sit-down meals at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

We equip Orthodox Christians across the country to serve their communities with presence, consistency, and love. Because the Church isn’t just where we worship. It’s what we do when we leave.

Youth Equipped to Serve creates formative opportunities for young Orthodox Christians to serve their neighbors — and encounter Christ in the process. Through YES Trips, the YES Series, and servant leader training, we equip the next generation to see every person as the image of God.
Backpacks
Every child deserves to start the school year ready to learn. Through our Backpacks program, volunteers pack and distribute school supplies to children in under-resourced communities — a simple act of care that opens doors and builds relationships.
